Charric and Margarette's notes on stuff we were assured was gospel...but wasn't even close.
1. There was no sugar! All they had was honey!
2. Cinnamon, Cassia and Canel are all the same thing!
3. They didn't use cotton, it didn't exist, it was too expensive.
4. Coffee! They didn't have coffee! Coffee's not period!
5. They never had Potatos or Tomatos in Europe!
6. They didn't have turkey, or cauliflower, or lettuce, or cabbage, or watermelon...
8. They had no distilled beverages, except for medicinal purposes.
9. There were no multii-petaled roses in period. They only had heraldic roses!
10. There were no oranges in period. They came from the New World!
